DESCRIPTION

Cross-linking agent in the presence of humidity. Solvent-free for a wide range of applications such as bodywork, container and vehicle manufacturing, air conditioning and ventilation, metallurgy, etc.

Good adhesion to glass, many metals, paints and treated surfaces. Good resistance to humidity, usual climatic conditions and temperature from - 40°C to + 90°C continuously (up to + 120°C in peak). Good
adhesion on wood and its derivatives, duroplastics and thermoplastics (except PE, PP, PTFE, PS PC and some ABS) as well as mineral materials.

Safety

Avoid direct contact with the uncured product. For further information, please read carefully the MSDS which is available on written request.

Storage

Do not store more than 18 months in a cool place (10°C to 25°C) in the original unopened packaging. Do not store above 25°C for a long period.

Restriction

Do not use for glass bonding where there is constant and long term exposure of the joint to UV light.

IMPLEMENTATION

Working temperature: + 5°C to + 30°C.

Surface preparation: surfaces to be bonded or grouted must be clean, dry, free of dust and grease. Store materials and work preferably in dry and heated premises. Compatibility and adhesion must be tested individually when applying to plastics or painted surfaces.

The sealant can be used on many substrates without primer. To improve adhesion on absorbent materials such as wood and concrete, we recommend the use of a primer. Preliminary tests are necessary in this regard.

Application: The sealant is applied by extruding sufficient beads between the materials to be sealed or bonded. The quantity to be deposited depends on the flatness of the substrates to be joined and the maximum force and deformation expected. The posting of the counter material or the smoothing of the bead must imperatively be done within the time limit of skin formation (we recommend not to exceed 10 minutes). It is imperative that sufficient contact be maintained with a mechanical fastener during the setting time. The speed of surface skinning and curing depends primarily on the thickness of the joint, temperature and humidity of the air and the substrate.

Notes: for application with a pneumatic gun, a pressure of 3 to 5 bars on the product is recommended. Direct contact of the sealant with fresh polyurethanes should be avoided, as this could partially inhibit polymerization in the contact area.

Cleaning agents: GL solvent or PU solvent. Clean up stains immediately after use. Cured product can only be removed mechanically.
